Starfield's Modding Community and Star Wars mods

There have been many complaints that have been sent in the direction of Starfield that seems to be slowing its ability to garner more players, especially on Steam. Bethesda has been trying to improve the game with patches and other actions such as giving updates on additional content.

However, in spite of such issues, Starfield remains a game that many players want to engage with. In comparison with many other games out there, Bethesda was true to its support for mods. Even with the creation kit not being out yet, there have been tons of mods that help to enhance the game. There has been a huge number of modifications already made to the game. It is remarkable how much creativity there is for just making mods in this game.

While some players may see this as a sign that the game's content is not worth playing, I that this will help the game gain much needed creative energy that could be used to assist the game studio.

In spite of all the negativity surrounding this game, some important mods are already changing the perception of this game. Those mods are relating to Star Wars.

These movies are truly something special and I believe having a mod would add so much to Starfield in many ways.

Right now, there is a mod that is really getting popular on Starfield Nexus Mods. It is a Star Wars mod that adds iconic Star Wars alien races to a game that seems to be hiding its own aliens in the game. Star Wars aliens such as the iconic Rodians and Twileks are in the game. There is even an iconic recreation of the famous Star Wars character Ahsoka, whose character model in this model is eerily similar to the actress who plays her in the live action tv series.

This is a big reason why people shouldn't just be criticizing this game. While Starfield isn't a perfect game, it is clear that it is encouraging all kinds of creativity that would otherwise not be used in there.

My thoughts are that these mods are what the game really needs to stave off all this critiques.

Skyrim has also become an experimental lab for all kinds of interesting mods. The game on its own is not as great some would say but Bethesda has provided a great foundation by which people can enjoy altering the aspects of this game.

Bethesda has always been very good at supporting its modding community. Many companies release games and then they let them sit in the queues of Steam or the shelves of stores and then promptly move onto the next game. The only other major game studio that even comes close to its support for a community approach to enhancing the lives of games is Rockstar Games, which is well known for incredible games. However, Bethesda is one of the few of any studios that has made such a model which has been made into a system that is able to be consistent through the games.

While there have been many articles and videos made about how Starfield will not able to recapture the spirit of Skyrim's modding community, I believe that with the mods that we have already seen, we are going to get a blossoming of creativity from the Starfield community that will may not equal Skyrim, but it will be significant in its own way. Starfield is bit more of a niche game than Skyrim. However, it is important to understand that Science-fiction has always been a niche genre. Starfield however, is probably one of the most important space games that allows for such a variety of modifications.

This is why we need to continue supporting Starfield in spite of all the criticisms. There is a great start and Bethesda should try to see it through and support the game.
