Starfield's Modding Community and Star Wars mods

Image
There have been many complaints that have been sent in the direction of Starfield that seems to be slowing its ability to garner more players, especially on Steam. Bethesda has been trying to improve the game with patches and other actions such as giving updates on additional content. However, in spite of such issues, Starfield remains a game that many players want to engage with. In comparison with many other games out there, Bethesda was true to its support for mods. Even with the creation kit not being out yet, there have been tons of mods that help to enhance the game. There has been a huge number of modifications already made to the game. It is remarkable how much creativity there is for just making mods in this game.  While some players may see this as a sign that the game's content is not worth playing, I that this will help the game gain much needed creative energy that could be used to assist the game studio. In spite of all the negativity surrounding this game, some imp

Starfield and the beauty of space ships

Image
Starfield and the beauty in the Spaceships In the Starfield timeline, space travel has become immensely easy compared to our own time. The invention of the grav drives had unintended effects on Earth but it gave humanity a great ability to spread across the Milky Way. Instead of relying on generation ships or slow solar-powered vessels, they are able to go any planet without needing to spend months or years to try to get there. In spite of this, spaceships are still very expensive and require skilled learning to use. Spaceships in Starfield are really beauties in themselves. They represent something very interesting in the game. Unlike many other games where starships serve a functional purpose in the game. These ships are used to travel from planet to planet and provide a great amount of structure to the lore of the game.  However, there is another aspect to spaceships in Starfield that truly make them remarkable. They have incredible amounts of information in them that showcases how

Starfield and its relation to Myst

Image
Is Starfield the New Myst?  The Planets of Starfield all have their own biomes and characteristics. The battle is joined on the Steam review page for Starfield. It has become such an area of contention among so many players. There are reasons why video games such as Starfield and others tend to engender such heated passions among players. I think that video games much like music tend to be mediums that are very much part of pop culture rather than high culture. Some people still want to think of games as having some higher purpose. However, to most people out there, video games are still seen as electronic toys. This is because when the medium began, it was time when pop culture was ascendant across the West. While classical orchestras were continuing to fill the airwaves throughout the Post-World War 2 era, rock music and other pop music were taking over. Classical music was square in the eyes of the cool young kids and in their minds, it was time to shake up society just as the flapp

Starfield and Vehicles: Pros and Cons

Image
In the above image, a vehicle in Starfield is clearly visible. I saw this vehicle in one of the random settlements that appear in the game. It is clear that we can have vehicles in Starfield, but should they just be props in the game or should they be something more? That is the question here in this entry. The issue that many people have with Starfield is that the game does not have vehicles that the player can use. This has been a sticking point for many players, especially those on Steam, who are a very active minority who are constantly trying to critique this game. Those who are more generous to the game tend to congregate on Reddit. While there are many complaints that abound about this game, it is clear that the game has one particular issue that people have been clamoring about for many months. That issue is the inclusion of ground vehicles into the game. As of right now, it seems the game is simply too big for one player to handle. This is of course, the complaints of a ce

Starfield has the magic and why every video games needs it.

In New Atlantis, this Japanese brand appears on advertising displays.  There is a mystery about a new game that cannot be seen in a game that you have played many times. You are stepping into a virtual world without any knowledge of what you may see. Just like in the real world, where you do not have all the information at your fingertips, being in a video game in its opening moments are the best moments that elevate your memories into something remarkable. Everything in the game is mystery waiting to have its truth uncovered and shown to the player. These are the moments that we as gamers love the most and remember as the years go by. This is why we play video games. It is more than just a way to pass the time, it's the experiences that matter. That should be something that you cherish and try to understand. I think that is why video games are such a powerful medium that have the ability to influence others, especially people who may not be all that interested in video games. St

Starfield and The Steam Issue

Image
Steam: The King of PC Games Steam is the premier site for any PC gamer and has been that way for many years now. I remember when I was younger that PC games used to be more much physical in their contents. There were entire store shelves that were devoted to video games. Now, you are lucky to even find a place that sells physical PC games other than Walmart, Target or Gamestop. However, Gamestop has generally moved away from selling PC games and focuses on the console market. Because of this move away from physical sales towards sales on the internet, the industry is becoming more diverse in some ways, allowing for more variety in our video games. This isn't to say that there wasn't diversity before, but there is more ability for small companies to make money on video games that are not so traditional in their styles.  Starfield has been released into the public's hands in an era where Steam is the main way that people buy PC games on the internet. As such, the reviews on
