How Much RAM will one need in Starfield?

Image
How Much Ram is Enough for a Computer?  I have been looking over the system requirements for Starfield and I understand that my old gaming computer is not going to be able to pass mustard anymore with AAA games coming out today. I going to have to upgrade my computer and get something that is powerful enough to be play Starfield when it comes out. I have already discussed the System requirements of this game, but I want to emphasize a particular point about RAM requirements and what it means for gamers. You see, I have a MSI Laptop that has 8GB of ram. As you can see that is wholly inadequate for Starfield, which requires 16GB of ram. This amount of ram that Skyrim required was roughly 2GB of RAM minimum and 4 GB as the recommended requirement. Skyrim came out in 2011 but you can clearly see that games are only getting more and more demanding over time.  However, the RAM requirement is probably one of the most interesting things about this game. Generally speaking, RAM helps make a com

How Many Copies will Starfield Sell?

The next game in Bethesda's RPG canon is arriving and everyone is talking about it. There is tons of hype and interest in Starfield, and I expect that the game will be making tons of money for both Bethesda and Microsoft. The thing is that the game will be very popular among RPG gamers. However, one of the main questions that everyone has on their mind is how many copies Starfield will sell in general. Will it be a big success or will be Cyberpunk 2077 situation where it sells alot of copies on the heel of a very buggy release. It is doubtful that Starfield will flop as a game unless the developers are lying through their teeth, and we get a No Man's Sky situation. I believe that Todd Howard and his team are competent enough and honest that this will not happen. This is an AAA game not AA production. There are hundreds of millions of dollars at stake for Microsoft in this game. It will be competently worked on by the 500 or so people who were hired on to make this incredible

Will Starfield succeed in the Japan?

Japan Xbox's Scene and Starfield The Japanese Game industry plays an important role in the medium today. Their games are incredibly inventive and interesting. Despite the language barrier between them and the West, Japan has carved out an important niche that produced some incredible games. Companies such as Sony, Sega and Capcom are household names among Americans. While the Japanese industry may not dominate like when they were in the 1980s, they are important market for video game companies to paying attention to when thinking about sales, especially when it comes to video game consoles and niche games.   In the beginning, the American game industry was the one that making strides in bringing the video game industry to the masses. Companies like Atari were taking the world by storm and making billions of dollars in an industry that was once confined to the labs of universities. The video game industry was growing from strength to strength.  The Video Game Renaissance of the 19

Stealth in Starfield

Stealth was one of my most favorite aspects of the Elder Scrolls Series. Being able to stay in the shadows while you were stalking a target was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the Elder Scrolls video games.  Stealth in Starfield: What does it mean? According to this article , stealth in Starfield is quite similar to that of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. Based on what is stated on Reddit, there will be indicators on the top right of the screen that show sneak attack damage. This is very important for allowing the developers to fufill the fantasies of players. It show that Bethesda is interested in providing a variety of playstyles to the player. I honestly believe that this is one of the greatest strengths of Bethesda's games. They do not allow the player to get stuck into one way of thinking or doing things. They allow the player to experiment with a variety of playstyles that will appeal to them. This choice and freedom to be what you want is one of the great strength

Starfield and the legacy of Skyrim

Image
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was one of the biggest releases in Bethesda Softworks history. It was a game that released to great fanfare among the gaming and general public. In comparison with the other entries in the series, Skyrim was probably the first truly mainstream RPG that people had actually played in their lives. Now, this is not to say that there were not other RPGS out there that were popular with people. World of Warcraft had made a great splash in the realm of MMOs, getting as close to 11 Million players by 2010. However, in the single player rpg market, there was no game like Skyrim, except maybe for the release of Mass Effect in 2007.  Skyrim and Starfield: Grandfather of the Modern Open World Mass Effect's release in 2007 definitely helped to pave the way for the release of Skyrim a couple years later. However, Skyrim truly overwhelmed Mass Effect in sales with its open world. The release of the game of the year Fallout 3 in 2008 also helped to cement Bethesda's

Bethesda's Starfield and the Australian R18 Rating

Australia Classification Board vs Starfield The establishment of the ESRB in 1994 was one of the landmark events in the history of the medium. video games were seen as significant enough that they warranted being analyzed by the non-gaming public. After outrage about games like Mortal Kombat and Night Trap, it became clear that the video game industry, at least in the eyes of those who were not familiar with video games, needed to be regulated somehow. With the creation of the ESRB, we get those prominent letters on the right side of the box that tell us about the content in the game and whether it is appropriate for children of certain ages. This was a landmark time in the history of video games. The industry had managed to weather the storm and get into the good graces with the regulators. With the regulation now on place, did this meant that video games were off the hook? Not necessarily. The pressure was still there.  With the continued rise in gaming in the 1990s with the transi

Starfield and the System Requirements

Image
Starfield and Its System Requirements One of the great conundrums for many gamers, especially those who PCs is that the video games that they wish to play have high system requirements. This is simply a fact of life when it comes to video gaming. Many gamers come from a variety of backgrounds and yet it seems that games are more geared towards the upper-middle class and those of the upper class. Poorer gamers get left behind and have to make do with less powerful computers. The ability of gamers to adapt is one of the tales of legend as many mods have been created for video games allowing for players with what is called potato computers to be able to play some of the latest games.  According to this article , Starfield is going to have some very demanding requirements. It is one of the first games that I can remember that requires a SSD and shuns mechanical storage devices like Hard Drives.  Starfield and Solid-State Drives Requirement One of the most important reasons why SSDs are of

Welcome to the Starfield Analyst! I want to welcome to Starfield Analyst, which is a blog that is going to focus primarily on Starfield as well as other Space Sim games.
